As Paul suggested, note length 13 is the way to make long notes easily.

P3 doesn't work that way because I prefer to be able to turn lots of pattern
steps on or off in parallel.
So holding multiple buttons activates multiple steps, rather than applying
the first note to a series of steps.
I considered making the Mobius-style behaviour optional, but decided that
might be more confusing than helpful.
