The basic answer is: Go to playlist edit and there you can transpose each pattern for every track up/down three octaves using the lower (note) knob on playlist step 1-8. However, there are some less obvious ones too, including transpose by event for aux assignments, including post-playlist transpose "xpose by track n+p". Also set-step value events include "xpose by n" and with accumulators there's more hidden joys... There's simply LOADS of ways to transpose from single notes, to patterns, to playlists, to parts... FULLY read the manual (as i didn't at first...) and even though you won't be doing everything to start with, you will soon realise just how much your P3 can do for you.
