hi, First -- Midi Clock issue: Not a P3 issue, but wondering if I can find a workaround... I use Logic 7 -- since being acquired by Apple, the Midi specs for sequencing external Midi gear are rapidly going downhill. The latest problem -- Logic will only send a Midi Clock 'start' message at the beginning of a song. If you start Logic from any other point in the song, it will only send a Midi Clock 'continue' message, affecting any hardware unit expecting a 'start' message in order to reset to the beginning. Is there any way that the P3 can read a 'continue' message as a 'start' message? (The Kenton Pro-2000, for example, allows you to specify "Midi Clock 'Continue' = 'Start'"). OR, is there any other Midi message that can be sent to the P3 to make it reset to the beginning? My current workaround is manually hitting 'Sync' on the P3 before i start the sequence. (Thank god for that!) Second -- Sync Out question: Does it always send out Midi Clock and DIN Sync? I tried Sync Out to the DIN Sync in on my TR-808 and it doesn't work. Also tried the Sync o\Out to the Midi-in on my x0xb0x, and it syncs, but there is some weird stuff going on too (when I stop the P3, the x0x seems to trigger randomly). Any help appreciated, thx, Jason [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
