erm..don't have the pattern anymore..i only thought up this possible 
cause a couple of hours later, and at that point everything was 
working smoothly again. if it doesn't happen again (which it didn't 
last night; just once and not again) i'm going to assume it was a 
general user confusion error. :) which is quite possible as it was 
kinda late again last night..
do you think it would also be possible to fix the 'midi-thru channel' 
setting so it can send all channels thru?
