Hi Gene, > You had told me that you¹d have a video or something that would help me > decide whether, in my incompetence with hardware projects, I could accomplish > this upgrade... I was going to do the video once I have a production board, but I guess I can do one with the prototype if it helps you decide one way or the other. Give me a couple of days to get it sorted. The memory board installation requires the P3 to be opened up (obviously), so you could always check out the 'opening a P3 video' here: http://www.sequentix.com/files/P3-front-panel-removal.wmv for a start. Once the panel is off, there are 5 screws holding the main board in. With the mainboard removed, one RAM chip is levered out with a flat screwdriver, then the memory expansion board is inserted in its place. The current build of v4 detects the presence of the memory expansion automatically. Best regards, Colin Fraser Sequentix Music Systems Ltd http://www.sequentix.com
