And isn't there up to 4 repeats per step, not 2? Boops, You may have to wait patiently (with everyone else) until Collin announces his successor to the p3. It will happen eventually, he even recently alluded to work being picked up on it again. Every so ofter people ask about it, but really, we just have to wait. Honestly, with all the attention the recent P3 sales have gotten I doubt you'll get any special offers, so my best advice would be to hold out until Collin is ready for the next generation sequencer. I trust that it will be worth the wait! -josh heckadecimal On Tue, Feb 26, 2008 at 8:15 PM, DB <dave@renegaderhythms.com> wrote: > Colin Fraser wrote: > > > > > > What's the maximum note count I can get in pattern with MEMX? > > > > 16 steps x 16 bars = 256. > > Use a note repeat on every step and you can have 512. > > Use bar repeats on every bar, and you can have patterns that take a > very, > > very long time to repeat. > > > > . > > > > > > But with MEMX that's 256/512 maximum note count is per Part (16 bars per > part), correct? > So you can also chain Parts if needed to get more :) > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
