...I think the reference was to the "Randomize Note" function on the
first page of the alternate (FUNC+PAGE) menu in edit-mode, not to
randomizer AUX-events.
The first sets a fixed value for the note currently being played using
a randomly chosen value within RANGE above the lowest possible note,
which is set using BASE, for as long as the F1 key is pressed, where
the second randomizes the chosen parameter for a step on each pass
through the sequence if the AUX is set to active for that step.
