Hehe, still sounds like you're introducing a perverse
visual element dude. A few steps more to Cubase and
graphics and...aaaargh!

Ignore me though. It's something I've heard requested
before. You can, at least, put in notes in step time
using the arpeggiator. Or, do like my old Oberheim
Minisequencer does and gradually increase the length
of each pattern from 1 upwards, tuning each new note
as you go. Me, I just don't want to see what notes I'm
banging in, it makes me go too conventional - but
maybe Colin will put what you want into P4, who knows?
