You can use either value or pot. 4k7 pots will draw a little more supply current, and in theory be less susceptible to noise, but in practice I don't think it made any difference. > could i make the update 3.8 with? If you mean a firmware update, all P3s are firmware compatible. > do you sell cherry custom p3 switches? I don't have any of the custom keyswitches left, sorry. > do you have a i/O pcb for multi midi out? I don't, but the later board is not pin-compatible with the connector on the earlier boards anyway. > have you an used front panel and > case...perhaps you want to sell..;-)(before i order to > schaeffer).thanks for your great work and your patience..i am not very > very experimented..and i must take care for each detail...best I have a prototype panel, but it has pot holes sized for Spectrol pots. If I can work out a way to make it suit Alpha pots without being all wiggly, I'll offer it up for sale during the imminent clear out of stuff I need to do. > hi colin...i forget!! for the led spacer which reference? i found for > 5mm led four lengths 3; 7.6; 12.7; 19...after 3 years..the code have > changed...thanks .can i cut them..i don't know this component > yet.. I wouldn't worry about the LED spacers. They make it easier to match the heights of the LEDs, but you can just do it by hand - only solder one leg of each LED, then you can adjust the heights once they are fitted to a panel.
