And have you tried this with a number of different synth patches? Usually, anything that changes from one repeat of the pattern to the next tends to do so because it uses aux events (that's one reason they're so cool); check out the values of auxes A-D, what they are set to, if the aux steps are active. If not, time for some head scratching or for Colin to throw a synaptic spark or two.
