Doesn't the "Main" Gate have to be activated on that step in order for the Aux's "gate" to work. In other words, if your gate is set on 1, 5, 9, 13 for 4 x4 BD then steps 2,3,4,6,7,8,10,11,12,14,15,16 won't make any notes in Aux1,2,3,4. Unless Colin's changed that behavior from earlier OS's.... That's one of the reasons, I don't use the P3 for much drum programming, though I would love to. Or when I do, it's a 1 Drum Sound per Track kind of thing like Paul's doing... I would love to know that I'm wrong and this behavior has changed... :) but it sounds like it's going into Cirklon instead (time to start saving!)
