paul, anyone- is there a way to create/edit a bar that's not part of a
pattern, while the pattern plays, & then "reveal" it by changing the
length of the part? used to know how to do this in v3.....

so, e.g. I have a part playing with 2 bars, & I want to copy/paste the
first into bar 3 & tweak it a bit before adding it onto the end of the
other 2...... I'm probably missing something obvious...
