I don't think they're anything like the voice cards (a mere four) in my cs50, or I might have been in for one..... what is the number on the main SSK IC on those cards? yamaha made a lot of proprietary ICs in the late 70s but made up for this transgression by providing reasonable support (for the CS series at least) until quite recently; I got service sheets for the cs50, & several quite tricky components for a cs30 as recently as 4 years ago; the machines were built in 1974 & 1978 respectively.

so but is that mr reid's machine that came from an australian piano teacher on a tractor through his neighbour's garden one christmas while he was away? or not? there can't be many GX-1's in the uk..... does keith emerson still have one?

& if this means you're up for a bit of on-commission work, how about the standalone FTS device I was after? :-)
