I have read that playlists have gone on V4.0 but I'm not sure what they have been replaced with and how to use them...can anybody help out there. Many Thanks. > Colin, many thanks I have had a chance to play with the new V4 pattern/part edit structure and its really good...very fast and reasonably intuitive (once you told me the FUNC key stuff). I am still struggling a bit though...I have created 5 parts (which I assume are analogous to parts in a song i.e. intro, verse, chorus, mid8 etc) but I cant work out how to create these parts into a song i.e. Part1, Part2, Part3, Part4, Part2, Part3, Part 4, Part 5, Part4. Am I getting it wrong, I am assuming banks are like songs. Please note I have tried the part chain but this doesnt work as the P3 assumes that the parts are a single bar in length. A bit stuck, I've been through the V3 manual and the V4 quickie manual...but I'm getting confused with the playlist element...have playlists been totally replaced or are they still used for stringing parts together into songs. Cheers
