There is a 4.5 beta.
It's conceptually simpler than 4.0 in not having ghosting, but having only
numbers for a pool of patterns for all tracks can make it difficult when you
have lots of patterns. This also applies to the current build of Cirklon,
since it is largely based on v4.5 of P3.
Some of the things I've added or changed in Cirklon I've then added back to
P3.
Cirkon will have text names for patterns, but P3 doesn't have the mental
capacity for that.
I'm going to filter pattern selection based on the track a pattern was
created for in Cirklon, and roll that back into P3 v4.5
At which point I'll post it up.
v4.5 is more likely to become a release build than v4.0
