I'm away from p3 and it's been awhile, but I know that you can change the
default resolution/octave range per pattern for the pitch knobs...
like set it to only sweep through a certain number of octaves; 1 or 2 and
it's much easier to hit the note you want with the knobs.
(I'll be honest, lately it's been all monomachine for myself ;)
