Hi Colin, I like the idea of a breakout box, maybe a 1U rack, and I especially like the idea if CV input (a S&H or a VCLFO fed into the Cirklon then FTS hmmm!!). It could be an advantage to fit a couple of 1/4" outputs on the rear, in addition to the D25, for anyone who only needed minor CV integration and didn't want to run to the extra cost of a breakout box.
