Hi,

The initialised P3 puts the tracks 1 to 8 on MIDI channels 1 to 8.
You'll need to put track 2 on MIDI channel 1.
Hold PAGE and press key 5 - "MIDI Chan" will be above key F3
Hold F3, and press 2.
The display should now show 'Select channel (trk=2)'.
Press 1 to select MIDI channel 1 for track 2.
The you should hear your hi-hat.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
