I totally agree, £1000 doesn't seem overpriced for the Cirklon. From the looks of the build quality and the features this is going to be the ultimate sequencer for me. I just hope Colin is able to make enough of them to meet the demand. I didn't get on the list till recently and am very anxious to be "grinning about my new toy"! Can't wait. --- In analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com, companyofquail@... wrote: > > I don't think 1000 quid is too much to ask for a midi/cv sequencer that includes nearly every feature the community asked for. I don't know of any sequencers with this much power just in the midi domain that command much less. > Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® > > -----Original Message----- > From: "analog1k" <analog1k@...> > Sender: analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com > Date: Thu, 07 Oct 2010 20:01:43 > To: <analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com> > Reply-To: analogue-sequencer@yahoogroups.com > Subject: [analogue-sequencer] Re: supply and demand > > That sounds good Colin, but i must emphasise, that if the cost is too high, it's a deal breaker for me. The original P3 cost was good for just a sequencer, but if it's projected to be within £800-£1K range i would expect such to have it's own synth engine included. > > Elektron made a good sequencer in the Monomachine, but they limited it by not including adjusting step lengths for each of the 6-tracks, no note skipping, no bi-directional sequencing ie: pendulum etc, for some that's complete fail.
