I've sequenced softsynths on my Mac and PC from Cirklon's USB MIDI. 
Connect up and you'll see the various ports, define some USB instruments 
on Cirklon and then use them as you normally would. Seems to work.

I haven't done a massive amount with this - it was something I intended 
to do more of but just never got round to it. I think Danny has done 
more though. Give it a shot. Good luck! :)
