There's no issue controlling my Octatrack, in fact some operations are 
slicker using Cirklon than from the Octatrack's own controls (e.g. 
Cirklon has true independent track lengths, something Octatrack doesn't, 
yet).
Cirklon's mixer can stay open as scenes change but if you need to 
manually change a pattern you currently need to leave the mixer page. 
Similarly to access the track values you currently need to get to the 
track and page for the values you want in order to tweak the encoders.

I have a couple of MIDI controllers routed permanently through Cirklon 
to a specific synth and hardware looper (Repeater) and those controllers 
give me instant access regardless of Cirklon's pages - a technique I 
think that will always be useful even as Cirklon's control powers grow. 
I can record a new Cirklon pattern with controller tweaks in it at any 
time, which is rather lovely also.

Looks a wicked controller - I seem to recall the SOS review now you 
mention it.
