When writing music I keep my PC switched off. The PC is only used when printing to audio, mixing and mastering is done. But now I have a problem. I like to toy around with my new modular system, and when I hear something great, I want to record it in high quality audio, so that I can use it later in a song. But that would mean I have to switch on the damn PC. :( It's that bad, that I'm now looking around for a multitracker (like the DPS16 I once owned) to make quick and good recordings in 24-bit/96k without the need of the PC. Switching on the thing would be a lot cheaper, I know... - Robert
