It could be *very* difficult to understand what's going on in a pattern that's shifting it's own position - you could end up getting stuck in loops and things. Aux notes are unlikely to be real-time recordable. Might be possible somtime, but not high on the list. Playing things in from a keyboard tends to force me down a particular route.
