If you see three DIN sockets in a row, and the first two are midi in and out, it's usually a fair bet that the third one was midi thru. In the next run of P3 mainboards, I'm going to add a 5v supply to the I/O board connector, then I can make the third output selectable between DIN sync, midi thru, an extra midi out, or a 'clock only' midi out. Paul Nagle already has a clock only midi out on his P3, using one of my PIC 12c508 DIN sync to midi clock convertors.
