P3 #048

I'm just about to ship this ready-built unit:
http://www.colinfraser.com/p3/gallery/p3-048.jpg
The font certainly looks more readable than the (cooler) Sci-fi font
I normally use, so if you're buying a ready-built unit in the near
future, remember to state your preference.
I'm hoping to get some more cases in as soon as Steve finds some
time. The remaining few ready-built units assembled will be the type
1 black/wide case until I get a custom made enclosure done.

Cheers,
Colin f

help!

2004-06-28 by Gene Schwartz

I'm not sure what's going on.

Suddenly the p3 is cycling through parts 9=13 (well, part 1-4). I'm not sure
that I did anything to encourage this behavior. Turning it on and off has no
effect. I'm not sure how to stop this and get it just playing part 9 again.

I tried following the instructions in the manual but I'm getting nowhere. No
matter what I do (tried to change the chain at least from just 9-10, and it
seems to be working, but then the other parts light up again and it cycles
through all of them.)

No clue. Really don't feel like spending the rest of my weekend
troubleshooting and swearing.

ok, Gene, don't panic...I think I can help. Did you look at the release
notes document...it mentions a set pchain length aux event. Don't think it's
in the manual. Did you maybe set this event by mistake?

hmmm - looks like that's what happened. Fixed. Thanks, Gene.

No problem. Good thing I monitor this list pretty frequently.
