I've considered various ways to say this in a suitably cool and
nonchalant manner, but as a long time lover of acid techno
minimalism, I can't avoid grinning about it...
Richie Hawtin bought P3 #69.

Cheers,

Ricjie Hawtin, eh? I guess that means you've hit the "big time"
crowd. Congrats!! Let me know when you sell one to the Subhead boys!!!

Ooooh, very cool! Someone I know fixed his laptop once but I'll
concede you've got a slightly stronger case for a bit of name dropping
there :)

I don't know what he'll be doing but if he's using it alongside his
Doepfer controller (http://www.doepfer.de/controller_example_2.JPG)
you can be pretty sure he's going to have fun doing it ;)

Colin, you'll be sure to let us know when your cheque from Herr
Schneider turns up won't you?

Now, that would be cool ;-)
I wonder whether they still use real gear though ? - I hope the laptops are
just for live use...

Pattern mode copy/paste

2004-09-12 by Gene Schwartz

I am trying to copy pattern 2 to pattern 4, including all of the auxes. So,
I am selecting 'both' in the menu when I choose to paste. The event values
are being copied, however the events themselves are all being reset to
cc#0. Am I missing something about how this works, or how I should do it?

Thanks,
Gene

You're missing something ;-)
'both' means both note and aux *values* will be pasted.
You need to use 'auxcf' to paste the aux and accumulator config settings.

The config shouldn't be reset to cc#0 if the config isn't pasted, but that
may just be what was already there in your case. I'll check...

Ah - ok - I suspected that I was missing something, since someone would have
noticed a bug this obvious, I suppose.

But, I'd like to have a paste command that pasted ALL... Wouldn't that be a
more probably starting place if you're BOTH copying the aux events and their
values?
