They're either already used, or sound crap ;-)
I came up with various names which I wanted to:
a) sound like something to do with a sequencer
b) sound technological, i.e. have a 'X' in the name
c) get no other hits in English on Google

Believe me, coming up with a name is harder than you think...

I don't think it's close enough to cause confusion.
If it does, maybe you guys with revision 2 P3 boards will be on a money
spinner ;-)
There's already a Korg piano module called a P3, so maybe that name has to
change first.
I'm not too keen on using my own name in a company name.

Colin f

don't know why not... Bob Moog did ok, and Alan Robert Pearlman used "ARP" from his intials...

I also liked the sound of Colin Electronics... sounds "pro" ...but ultimately, YOU have to be the most happy with whatever you choose...

just so you know, we are just tossing out lots of names at random, it may "trigger" another idea you may have too... good luck with it...

You could always do a take-off of your last name and add an "x"...
fraxure (pronounced 'fracture').

Hey... how about a contest... lucky winner gets a free P3 :)
That should get everyone's creative juices flowing!!!! (Ok, I admit that
I'm a selfish bastard)

How about something to show that it's from the land of Whisky and
deep fried Mars Bars........the OchAye P3?

Second thoughts no, sounds like you make samplers.
