Glad to hear it's exercising your grey matter ;-)

Those are the functions for the step keys.
Press the mode switch to cycle through them.
The LEDs show which one is selected.

I'd suggest just working through the tutorials, including Paul's mp3s in
Yahoo files. That should make it clear(er).
