Michael,

Kits will be available early in the new year.
There are a number of board changes from the previous run so I wanted to get
a test set made.
Among the changes are:

 * 6 DIN socket I/O board, with midi in, 4 midi outs (not independent!) and
sync
 * transistor based midi output driver, to increase signal strength and
protect CPU pin
 * space on mainboard for DIN to midi clock convertor PIC, so sync output
can be wired either for DIN sync or clock only midi output
 * adapter board included that simplifies PLED display module wiring (uses
IDC plug)
 * switch boards modified to take Cherry MX keys in place of standard tacts
(Maplin or multimec keys still useable)
 * pot board connectors moved to line up with mainboard socket in production
case

I'll update the construction pages once I get the test boards.

Cheers,
Colin f
