Swing?

Swing?

2004-12-12 by philsmillie@yahoo.com

Hi Colin,
We all know the P3 really grooves.. how about making it easier
to "shwiiiiiiing"? I wouldn't go as far as Thomas Dolby to say that,

"..it doesn't mean a thing,
If it doesn't have.. the ability to swing."

..but it would be a cool function! :-)

Also, would it be possible to offer the option of indicating MIDI
note numbers instead of names?

Hi;

It was suposed to include a global swing mode cloned from the 909 with 3 or
4 different settings, but
it seems to be forgotten for some totally useless( sorry to say) aux
functions.

I would like to have my X-mas gift that would be the mode that you enter
note lenghts with the button ,as on a 202.

regards;

Hans

I believe the original quote "It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing"
is by Duke Ellington. I am sure he, too would have loved the P3 sequencer......;-)
