P3 question

P3 question

2005-02-10 by jitterbugbite2003

Hey guys,

i'm new here. I'm interested in the P3, but don't own one (yet). I was
looking for info on the website of the P3, but couldn't find anything
about ordering the PCB's or other parts. Can someone point me in that
direction ?

i also heard about analogue haven delivering a pre-built P3 for about
950 bucks. How does that compare (price) to a self-built P3 ?

thx,

niels

It's those weak American bucks.
The pre-builts will be 450 gbp, which at current rates is about $850
Shawn is covering the cost of shipping and import duty to the US, hence he
arrived at the final US price of $950.
That works out only slightly more expensive than a ready-built unit shipped
directly would have been, with the advantage for the buyer of a local
transaction etc.
The price for a ready-built unit shipped directly in the EU will be around
the 700 Euro mark.
Your Euro is worth nearly $1.30 these days.

Cheers,

What kind of "bucks"? Euros? That's not correct. I think the pre-built units
that Colin is working on now, should be around 400 GBP.

bucks normally means USDollars... at least in all the films I ever watched :-)
so 950 is about right, given the current exchange value.
