Sequentix Sysex ID

Sequentix Sysex ID

2005-03-31 by colinfraser_com

Folks,

I'm now an official Midi equipment maker.
My assigned sysex ID is 00 20 5F
http://www.midi.org/about-mma/mfr_id.shtml

This means changes to sysex headers on P3 will be required to
become 'legal', so another bootloader and main code update will be
posted soon.
Sorry if you just did one.
At least you don't need to write out a proper midi implementation
chart ;-)
Unless anyone's volunteering ?

Cheers,
Colin f

To all P3Tools users ...

This change will effect P3Tools. I will have to build a new version
as P3Tools heavily depends on the sys-ex formats.

However, as soon as I spotted this (and Colin emailed me at just
about the same time), I quickly hacked a new version together which I
have already emailed to Colin to try out.

As soon as Colin puts the new firmware out, I'll put the new P3Tools
out. Unless he puts it out while I'm on my holiday in sunny Spain, in
which case there will be a short delay.

I'm also just finishing off a couple of new features which I shall
describe at the moment as "Nagle-isms". You'll get those with the new
version as well.
