Does anyone have a part# for a nice switch to use under Colin's 
keycaps. .   available in the US?

The switches that go under the keycaps are included with the keys & caps
option you ordered.
You just need to supply two circular tact switches for the upper and step
key mode switches.
I'll do some photos today to show exactly what is included.
