Taken the plunge

Taken the plunge

2005-05-18 by Jim Combs

Well, I placed an order for Shawn¹s last P3 (in this batch) today. Hopefully
by this time next week I¹ll be trying to fathom Paul Nagle¹s excellent user
guide. Now I just have to decide whether to bring it along with me to
electro-music 2005 and our warm-up gig in Chapel Hill.

Oh boy is this going to be fun!

Oh yes - once you get your head round it (took me a little while at
first and then one day it sorta "clicked" and I was flying around it
like quicksilver). I wouldn't personally take it out live until you
can do everything without thinking on it - and don't forget that
useful "Func+Stop" - safe stop mode <g>.

Have fun Jim! Will be interesting to see how many P3s make it to DS
this year!
