difference between 6n138 and 6n139

difference between 6n138 and 6n139

2005-07-11 by marco_scooter2000

i have read the data sheet and the only difference i could spot =
output:
6N138
IF = 1.6 mA, IO = 4.8 mA,
VCC = 4.5 V

6N139
IF = 1.6 mA, IO = 8.0 mA,
VCC = 4.5 V

Current Transfer Ratio:
6N138 :
IF = 1.6 mA, VO = 0.4 V,
VCC = 4.5 V

6N139 :
IF = 0.5 mA, VO = 0.4 V,
VCC = 4.5 V
-----------------------
IF = 1.6 mA, VO = 0.4 V,
VCC = 4.5 V

according to the datasheet found here
http://i2c2p.twibright.com/datasheet/6n139.pdf

so the 6n139 is basicly a bigger version of the 6n136?
right?

kind regards,

marco
