Colin...seeing as how you have built your own 808 clone and would be the authority on 
such matters, I was wondering if you could validate the authenticity of this version...

It looks like a nicely done project to me.
The thing I would try very hard to avoid would be all the point to point
wiring - it makes for a lot of extra constructional effort, reduces
reliability, and can introduce hum in a lot of the sounds which are based on
high-resonance bandpass filters.
If I were to do it again, I'd do a separate front panel PCB with all the
pots and switches on it that connected to the voice board PCB with ribbon
cables or headers.

Anything from weeks to years ;-)
It's very, very hard to say.
