Pattern macros are in the current beta build I have here, but I'm in the
middle of updating the sculpt and randomize functions so that they take
effect as each step plays instead of the next time round.
When I get that finished, I'll post the beta. Maybe tonight, if there's
nothing good on telly ;-)
Pattern macros are accessed using FUNC+UPPER MODE (similar to the access to
aux config).
You use the DATA pot to select the macro from a list, then press F1 to apply
it.
At the moment the list is "Poly two abs" through "Poly five abs", and "Poly
two rel" through "Poly five rel".
Each of these instantly sets up the auxes for either "aux note rel" or "aux
note abs" for the desired number of poly notes.
There are other ideas for macros afoot...

Hm,
sorry I was looking to the mail archive for an info (damn 'spotlight'
not doing what steve promised)- as I was sure Colin has posted
short description how to setup P3 for poly/chord record quickly -
but I've missed in finding that so far.

anybody can send a quick setup guide for chord/poly record....I'm on
beta34 here...

thanks,
henry

have that so I don't fail miserably using OSX spotlight ;-)

Hi Colin

I'm ready for a new beta here :-)

though I'm on b34 which solved the logic related problems, I cannot
get to that macros you describe here. I first hold FUNC then press
UPPER MODE then sam happens as if FUNC not pressed I see GBars
running...

how can I veryfy I'm on build 34 (though I'm sure I have sucessfully
updated when beta was posted) is it possible the macro is not active
in that b34 build ?

thanks,
henry

Who is general failure? And what is he doing on my harddisc?

No, I was describing the function as it's implemented in the unreleased beta
just a couple of people have.
The missus is out, and the baby's asleep, so it might appear soon...
