How many different case designs have there been?

How many different case designs have there been?

2007-08-14 by Doug Wellington

I've seen three different P3 cases so far, a narrow one with the
display in the top middle, a wider black one with the display above
the buttons on the right side, and then of course the most recent
custom design. Have there been any other common versions? How many
of each have been produced?

There's only 1 production version, pictured here:

The other cases you've seen are from DIY projects people have put together
from a kit, which is how P3 got started.
If that route was taken people had to find their own solution for a case,
and I think many people went with some of the same variations.
