been a while since I poked around on my own mc202....
mine won't start at all, but I think that's because my p3's "din-sync"
output is actually a midi-clock-only output, by special order...
BUT
when the right sort of cable is in the back of my 202, pressing
"tempo" makes it read "0" instead of whatever it reads when the cable
isn't there.
make sure you are using a din-sync cable & not a midi cable. does the
"start-stop" function as expected?
