Hi Robert

"Anyway, try the MD, and then an analog machine, like the Jomox Xbase09.
You'll understand what I mean then."

I agree totally. I own a tr808 and am desparately seeking a Xbase09 after
playing with one in Turnkey (London). The xBase is the most organic and
powerful drum machine I have ever heard.

Up until about 6 months ago I only used either samples or software generated
drums and I had worked liked this for many years. I really could not
understand the value of drum machines. However, now I could NEVER revert to
non-analogue drums. There is something beautifully flowing about analogue
drums.

Back onto the subject of sequencers, I have recently got a Future Retro 777
and wow - this is another lovely and inspiring sounding machine. I wish the
sequencer was a bit more 'knob driven' like the P3 but never mind - it still
sounds incredable..

Happy new year all..
