not sure if possible but can i use knob in play mode to control synth with cc??
firmware V.4.00

If you turn on the 'enable mixer' user config option, the knobs above the
tracks in play mode will send volume and pan CCs.
There is internal support for assigning a CC number to all 32 knobs, but I
haven't implemented a UI to configure it.
Possibly a sysex configuration for it would be the simplest approach.

Ooh, I was just wondering this the other day. It would be very cool to be
able to set default cc numbers other than pan and vol for the mixer,
preferably for each knob. Is that what you mean?

Yes. The support for it is already there.
An array holds the CC number for each knob, and another array holds the MIDI
channel, which can be 1 to 16, or taken from the track assignment.
All it needs is some way to edit the values in the array.
They're currently written with hard-coded values at boot.

It will be good if we can have track knobs in play mode for use with upper mode button to set velocity,lenght, delay... or transpose for the whole track and maybe record movements in a pattern.

Fast way to set velocity or note for whole pattern with just one knob in play mode.

um.... "sculpt", you mean? :-)

I agree with the broader suggestion, though, that it might be useful to direct the non-mixer knobs to track- or midi-controller functions.

colin, would this be part of a global config or per bank/w.h.y?
