Getting started

2011-09-18 by jdchevallier

Hello everyone. My P3 came in wednesday and I'm just sitting down with it. I'm running os 3.1, and hit a a a bit of a wall right off the bat. As I go into Pattern Edit mode, depending on the bank I'm in, the patterns just cycle through either 3 steps, or linger on the first.
I can engage any of the other 16 steps, but the sequencer never moves onward to them.

I'm sure this is something quite simple, but I can't seem to figure this out.

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks!
Joel

Seems like it was indeed the last step setting. Thanks for the tip. I'm going to reinstall the os and start from scratch!

I'll try not to inundate the board with questions I can easily find in the manual going forward guys!

Joel

Hi

Could be a few things.

Check the last step setting, or perhaps the steps are skipped.

Also if I were you I'd initialise the P3 (presuming it wasn't new) so you
are starting with a clean sheet.

All in the manual but shout if you need help.
