I'm using Doepfer mults. They are better than A Sys (just kidding). I got D mults initially because I hate taking panel space for them, and the D ones are thinner than the A sys model. but I understand they are important. So I pulled them when I had to make room for the RS290/95 and just mounted them in little boxes I made that form-fit the module and then covered them with a felt cloth so when I lay them down on the faceplate there's no possibility of them scratching. It ended up I liked this arrangement, because my mults can go wherew I need them , so I don't have to string patchords across the whole system just to breakout a single signal. I also built inine five wide mults into my utility strip, which you can see here: http://www.buzzclick-music.com/strip.jpg this resides in a one rack high space I left intentionally there when I made the cabinet for the system, just for things like this. But at times I still run out! so I have these two little mult-ette's They worked out fine.
