Yes, I missed the joke, sorry. DIY is definitely worth a go, especially if you need more than one. There's no soldering involved. A good crimping tool ($10-$20) makes it easier but a decent pair of pliers works OK. I can send links to parts if anyone's interested. cheers, os.
