Is there anybody who can make some power cables for me so that I could plug a Doepfer module into an older-style AS rack? I need a half dozen or so.

It's extremely easy to do yourself. You just need connectors of the right
type & some 16 way ribbon cable, and crimp it all together.

he said doepfer to AS cables. I wouldn't say that's easy - more like a
pian in the as, AS and Schneider's sell them

I need a few too!

I stand by my statement. I've made Doepfer to AS cables and it was very
easy.

AS are asking $20 for an adaptor. You can make a DIY cable for about $3 in
parts.

Yes, I missed the joke, sorry.

DIY is definitely worth a go, especially if you need more than one. There's
no soldering involved. A good crimping tool ($10-$20) makes it easier but a
decent pair of pliers works OK.

I can send links to parts if anyone's interested.

cheers,
os.

Hello,

Yes, you're better off making your own cables, BUT, be careful with
polarities... you will need to swap positions of some
conductors of your flatcable, otherwise you risk blowing some fuses,
power supply or even some modules !!

Good luck ;-D
