hello all my first message here so I guess a little introduction is apropriate: I'm an improvising musician from Amsterdam/Holland (trained as a pianist) and I work a lot with analogue stuff and personal modifications to it. The last years mostly on the EMS Synthi AKS but also on a hybrid doepfer/AS (well 90 % AS really). I was just looking on the module list on the AS site and saw the spring reverb has disapeared. I personaly love the sound of springs (I have 2 AS spring modules myself, and have attatched other springs) and I really think there is no digital substitute. Digital reverbs etc. can be great, but it's a different soundworld/domain altogether I think.... Lately there has been a lot of focus on the digital domain by AS and that makes me wonder. It's called ANALOGUE systems after all.... And I'm a big fan of AS, that's why I'm a bit disapointed an esential module like the spring-reverb is gone What do you people think about this? best wishes Giw
