Hi, I have no problems with my a119 either. It responds perfect to my beats, either slow complex or just fast drum n bass style beats. Maybe ingo is right, could be your input that is either not loud, clear or long enough, or a broken module....definetly doesn't sound right i would get it looked at. Is it a broken cable perhaps? try different cables. if all fails you could just trigger the envelopes in time with the beat using your sequencer. john --- In analogue_systems@yahoogroups.com, "selfoscillate" <synaptic_music@y...> wrote: > > hello nectarios, > > just to point that out, i have absolutely no problems using > the a119 with percussive input signals. i do so all the time. > > maybe it is because your input signal is too short, but then you > will have problems with all other envelope followers too. > > best wishes > > ingo > > > > --- In analogue_systems@yahoogroups.com, "nectarios01" > <nectariosm@h...> wrote: > > Thaks for replying so fast people. > > Bakkis I have tried to reply to the Doepfer yahoo list, but I get a > > messages saying that "I can only reply to the list by plain text" > > (what ever that means). > > What is the yahoo doepfer list's address, so I can write back from > > there? > > Please excuse my internet ignorance. > > > > So, the A-119 cannot track fast incoming signals...That is > > dissapointing.
