Analogue systems

hello dan,
first of all, regarding the rs60 attack "problem": do
you patch the rs60 cv output to the "log" cv input of
your final rs180 vca? i think this is the problem that
you mention. if you patch it into the "lin" input fo
the vca then you probably get that delay result, i
think.

as for the rs510e thump: i guess you know that the
trapezoid module is also an envelope shaper and that
means a vca too(in EMS speak). do you patch the
rs510e's signal output to your mixer directly? that is
the env/vca output of the module. the trapezoid output
is a cv output of the modules envelope. 
so, you have two options: either patch the trapezoid
output to a final rs180 vca module's log cv input, or
patch the rs510e's signal output (that means its vca
output) to your mixing console direct. that way the
"thump" that you mention will be much lower.
