Hey Adam, the RS140 has an excellent response time and the built-in LFO is very useful. You can assign the mod wheel/stick to the LFO depth too which is a nice touch. Only downside I can really see is that it's monophonic, but poly midi->cv is quite rare. Then again, if someone asked if MIDI is the best way of controlling a synth like this, I'd probably say no... I have Bananalogue, Plan B and home-made modules in my RS15 case as well as ASys and they all work fine - except a minor thing with the positioning of the screw holes. Basically if you have an ASys module next to one from Banana, PlanB and probably Doepfer you have to have a few millimetres of gap in between.
