cv - midi and blacet...

2003-11-30 by stevenemilie

Does anyone know if I can use the doepfer A192 cv - midi interface to control a midi
sampler with my AS sequencer?

Also I'd like to mix some blacet modules with my AS setup - is there any way of
powering them from the AS supply? I don't want to spend a fair bit just to power the 2
blacet modules that I want...

I'm new to this and haven't quite got my head around it!

You can do this. If the midi sampler you're speaking of has a midi
implementation chart, you can use any voltage source as a controller via the
A192.

Regarding the Blacet: Some of his modules will work OK with 12 volts, not
all. Otherwise, there was a way to power them with a wallwart. Write John.
I recenty spoke with him and he mentioned he's out of town for the holiday
until Monday, but he's very helpful about this stuff.

Great midi news - thanks!

I'll order my blacet modules and see if they work...

Does anyone know if the cheap doepfer 5v adapter will work in a AS system (with the
adapter ribbon)? I need to power a doepfer midi - cv.

Thanks
